"Ooooh Craaap!!" Flash cried as the trap that held him fast carried him away from the Ultra Humanite and Powergirl.

The day just got worse for Flash. As he hurtled towards the sky he really hoped Powergirl was going to follow him, but then his perception of time meant he couldn't be sure. What if she thought he could break free on his own ? What if her temper had got the better of her and she was beating Humanite right now ?

This thought was broken by Kara's calm voice;

" Don't worry Wally, i've got you "

This was followed by the sound of tearing metal and breaking of the solid foam as suddenly Flash found himself dropping from the sky only to stop as a firm hand clutched his.

" What happened to Humanite ? " Flash asked.

" I left him where he was, he'll be gone by now but I'll get to him another day. There wasn't much choice really, and Linda would have killed me if i let you get hurt " Kara smiled.

" Ah hell, sorry PeeGee. "

" You don't have to apologise to me, I think Linda will chew you out enough anyhow. Now let's get you home ".

Wally didn't think Linda would be too harsh on him, well, no more than every other time he nearly got killed.
