Lobo

Having seen what is apparently the proposed New 52 design of Lobo, i can honestly say i don't mind the reducing of his body shape back to more normal human shape more reminiscent of his pre-1990 years, when he wasn't a parody of the excesses of the 1990's and could string together sentences that suggested he was much more intelligent than often given credit for, even if he was a deranged killer..

What i thought was missing from the new design was the certain rough edge, which i felt could be remedied by adding a worn leather jacket. Of course what is important is Lobo's personality which has in itself veered from intelligently amoral to being a bit of a loutish, unthinking thug depending on the writer. My preference is towards the intelligently amoral version with mildly loutish moments but it is up in the air as to how the character will be written.

My version adds the jacket, keeps the idea of the shorter hair and the bits of armour.

The quote in the picture is from Lobo's first ever fight in the comics with Superman when he was giving the Man of Steel a solid beating.
