Judge Nixon : Justice Monthly

Description

A departure from the standard looking Judges with this picture, featuring the former 'Wally' Squad Judge Aimee Nixon.

'Wally Squad' is a term used to describe the undercover section of the Judges, and many Judges have spent at least a short period within it ( with the possible exception of Judge Dredd, who would probably be terrible undercover ) even Judge Hershey spent a short time undercover as an exotic dancer ( photos were provided to smear her when she first ran for Chief Judge ).

Judge Aimee Nixon featured in the series 'Lowlife' as the primary character until the focus shifted towards her Wally Squad mentor and friend Dirty Frank. Nixon's most useful attribute in her work was her ease and skill to lie, including to her superiors in Justice department. Tough, but mildly disrespectful to her superiors and authority in a manner ill suited to being a regular Judge, Aimee was quite successful as part of Wally Squad.

But as with far too many long serving members of Wally Squad (with the exception of Dirty Frank) Aimee began to go 'native'. Aimee's sense of self preservation began to out weigh any sense of duty as a Judge, and when trapped by Yakuza mobsters, she sold out Justice department (Admittedly she had just lost both her real and cybernetic arms in their attack, and quite naturally survival is high on Aimee's list of priorities)

She was eventually tracked down by Dirty Frank, who had intended to find and rescue her, believing her to be being held hostage. But learning the truth about her actions, he ultimately had to arrest her.

Currently Judge Nixon is in confinement, having managed to convince her superiors to not send her to the far harsher prison on the penal colony of Titan ( a standard punishment for a corrupt Judge is 20 years on that moon of Jupiter ). So a return, while unlikely, is possible.

In this picture i decided to draw her as she might look having returned to working as a Wally Squad member once more, with her now fitted with two cybernetic arms.

Wallys, by necessity, are under far greater psychological pressure than any other branch of the Justice Department. Whilst Med Division and the SJS internal affairs department make every attempt to ensure only the most stable and reliable candidates get onto Wally Squad field duty, every Judge has a breaking point and, all too often, Wallys are more likely to reach that point than any of their regular duty colleagues.
